1. Other ways to express “Day of the week ” in Chinese: 周[zhōu] and 礼拜[lǐbài]

In spoken Chinese, 礼拜 [lǐbài] is also often used. 周 [zhōu] is used in both written Chinese and spoken Chinese. Nowadays, you will find that all of these three words to express day of the week 星期 [xīng qī], 礼拜 [lǐbài] and 周 [zhōu] are commonly used by people according to their personal preference. Don’t bother which one to choose, Just choose the one you prefer or the one you can pronounce easily.
